Wiyot Traditional Foods and Medicines Box Project

The project collaborates with Indigenous youth, the Wiyot community, and the Rou Dalagurr Food Sovereignty Lab partners, including Blue Lake Rancheria, the Wiyot Tribe, and Bear River Rancheria. The project is funded by the Native Cultures Fund and the Native American Food Sovereignty Alliance.
The Native Women’s Collective in partnership with the Rou Dalagurr Food Sovereignty Lab and Traditional Ecological Knowledge Institute, the Wiyot tribes, and Indigenous youth are starting a small pilot project of supplying traditional foods and medicines to the Wiyot Community free of charge. The project collaborates with Indigenous youth, the Wiyot community, and the Rou Dalagurr Food Sovereignty Lab partners including  Blue Lake Rancheria,  the Wiyot Tribe, and Bear River Rancheria. The project focuses on distributing healthy and traditional food and medicines to the Wiyot community.The project is funded by the Native Cultures Fund and the Native American Food Sovereignty Alliance.
