The Native Women’s Collective in partnership with the Rou Dalagurr Food Sovereignty Lab and Traditional Ecological Knowledge Institute, the Wiyot tribes, Indigenous youth and the Mckinleyville Center , are starting a small pilot project of supplying both traditional foods and non traditional foods &  medicines to the Wiyot Community free of charge. The project collaborates with Indigenous youth, the Wiyot community, and the Rou Dalagurr Food Sovereignty Lab partners including  Blue Lake Rancheria,  the Wiyot Tribe, and Bear River Rancheria. The project focuses on distributing healthy and traditional food and medicines to the Wiyot community.The project is funded by the Seventh Generation Fund , Native Cultures Fund and the Native American Food Sovereignty Alliance.

​ Currently the team is in progress with creating and collecting Box 4 & 5 items. You can register for Box 4 below and our team will be in contact about delivery or mail!
The Wiyot Food Boxes Project Team will be finalizing our last boxes in March and will be concluding with Box 5. Wiyot Community members are encouraged to apply before the conclusion of the project. Please reach out with any questions!
