Indigenous Girls, Young Women & Femmes Healthy Relationship Series

The McKinleyville Healthy Relationships Coalition, which is made up of various partners and community including local Indigenous Youth, local Indigenous community members, the Native Women's Collective, Native Strength Revolution,  Long Line of Ladies,
​ The Center at McKinleyville, and Open-Door Community Health Centers.
This workshop series promotes and embodies healthy relationships, be it with our bodies, the land, our community, ceremony, our languages, movement, exercise, relationships, or our culture. As Indigenous peoples, it is essential that we sustain and cultivate good and healthy relationships with these things in our lives and with each other to sustain us and keep us healthy. 

A series of four workshops leading up to a three-day volleyball camp for local Native youth, specifically girls, young women, and femmes.
Ages 12- 18 yrs old. 

Workshop #1: Yoga Workshop with Native Strength Revolution
Workshop #2: Flower Dance, Periods & How to Use Period Products with Long Line of Ladies
Final: 3 Day Empowerment and Volleyball Camp (Summer 2022)
