“One of the first pieces I made was a necklace for my auntie, it was just a one strander and I really had no idea what I was doing. We were sitting around, I think we were at language camp in Hoopa, and we had to make something so we made one of these necklaces and I gave it to my auntie and her being her she said thank you and she really likes it and she uses it to this day."

SuWorhrom David Baldy is an artist, jewelry designer, graphic artist and traditional regalia maker. He was raised in Northern California. David complete his BA degree at the Art Institute of California in San Francisco. After completing his degree he worked in video game art and design for a number of years before returning to Northern California.

David's jewelry is handmade and meticulously designed to be unique one of a kind art pieces. They have been described as "wearble art" and have been sold around the country. He has also worked as a consultant and mentor to other Native artists and has lead workshops on best practices for Native art and design.
