Membership Options:
Affiliated Membership (Native American)
Must be a member of a federally recognized tribe, a descendent of a federally or state recognized tribe, or a descendent of a historically recognized tribal group. Consign and/or sales of items at NWC tables/ events/ retail space Free Attendance at NWC Workshops Newsletter Subscription Eligibility for yearly art drawing at Holiday Event. Eligibility to serve as Board Member if elected. Items consigned with the NWC will be charged 15% of the total sold as a donation to the NWC for operating costs. *all items made for and/or at NWC workshops, events or gatherings are property of the NWC unless otherwise agreed upon. | Friends of the NWC (Non Native)

To become a member of the Native Women’s collective please fill out the attached form in its entirety. By filling out the attached form you agree to meet membership guidelines and that you are responsible for renewing membership each year.

Board Elections & Board Service:
To be eligible to serve on the Board of Directors for the Native Women’s Collective, you must first be an affiliated member or friends of the NWC member. Board members are elected for a term of three years. The next Board election will be in Summer of 2012. Registered members will be given notice of Board Elections. Below is a description of Board Service regulations:
Board Description: There will be no more than seven (7) and no fewer than three (3) directors.
51% of the Board of Directors must be of Native American descent.
Eligibility: Board Directors must be members of the Native Women’s Collective.
Term: Board Directors serve a term of three years.
Election Procedures: Nominations are made by the Board of Directors. Each director may make one nomination. Each nomination must be seconded by an additional director. Directors are then appointed by a majority decision of the Board of Directors Officers (President, Secretary, Treasurer).
